- Worked on a small team rapidly standing up Fortitude Re as an independent company prior to its sale to The Carlyle Group.
- Engineered S3 based enterprise SFTP system & downstream serverless ETL APIs in Python, AWS Lambda, SQS to handle high volume financial data with varying compliance and SLA requirements.
- Cross-team collaboration, deploying Python, Node.js based microservices and internal tools for reinsurance operations.
- DevOps responsibilities, writing reusable Terraform, ownership of infrastructure for services and applications, managing CICD for application and infrastructure code.
- Engineered a Python based backend system for an event ticketing aggregator launching in Q4 2021.
- Built ETL pipeline targeting PostgreSQL via SQLAlchemy and aggregating event, inventory data across 7 ticketing companies.
- Delivery of aggregate data via FastAPI to NextJS frontend application, and Algolia search integration.
- Implemented Terraform based orchestration of applications & associated networking / infrastructure on AWS via VPC, ALB, ECS Fargate (Docker), ElastiCache (Redis)
- Consulted on technical solutions with several teams over a large period of organizational change, starting at the AIG Innovation Center.
